The cause of inverter failure has a lot to do with the production environment, mainly in the following categories:
1. Corrosive gas is the cause of inverter failure. There are corrosive gases in the workshops of some chemical manufacturers, and these gases may be one of the reasons for the failure of the inverter, as follows:
(1) The toggle switch is caused by corrosive gas, and the relay is in bad contact, which leads to the failure of the inverter.
(2) Short circuit between crystals caused by corrosive gas causes inverter failure.
(3) Terminal corrosion causes a short circuit in the main circuit and causes a fault in the inverter.
(4) Inverter failure caused by short circuit between devices caused by circuit board corrosion.
2. Conductive dust such as metal, and inverter failure caused by dust. Such factors that lead to inverter failure mainly exist in production-oriented enterprises with large dust such as mines, cement processing, and construction sites.
(1) Too much conductive dust such as metal causes short circuit of the main circuit, which leads to inverter failure.
(2) The cooling fins are blocked by dust and the temperature is too high to cause tripping and burning, resulting in inverter failure.
3. Condensation, humidity, damp, and high temperature cause inverter failure. These factors that lead to the failure of the inverter are mainly due to the weather or the special environment of the place of use.
(1) The discoloration of the gate electrode due to moisture causes poor contact and causes inverter failure.
(2) The inverter is overheated and tripped due to high temperature.
(3) The inverter failure is caused by the sparking phenomenon between the copper plates of the main circuit board due to moisture.
(4) Humidity causes electrical corrosion of the internal resistance of the inverter, and disconnection leads to inverter failure.
(5) Condensation in the insulating paper causes discharge breakdown, which leads to inverter failure.
The failure of the inverter caused by human factors is mainly due to the inaccurate selection of the inverter, and the failure of the inverter caused by the parameters not being adjusted to the best use state.
1. Inaccurate selection of the frequency converter will cause the frequency converter to be overloaded early, resulting in failure of the frequency converter.
2. The parameters are not adjusted to the best use state, so that the frequency converter often trips protections such as overcurrent and overvoltage, which leads to premature aging and failure of the frequency converter.
