Recently I bought some ne555, so made a light seeking obstacle avoidance car, here it is.
Please ignore the brand of the display on the background display. . . . . The car just looks fine.
The first part is the brain. . . . Drawings was found online.
The motor is a geared motor purchased online. Here it is.
The circuit is very simple, so the specific steps are omitted. This car can run.
Use 4 AA batteries at the beginning, it is too large when put them in the box, so I use 4 nickel-cadmium batteries.
Since there are a lot of ne555 on hand, I wanted to make the car more like a robot, so I installed a breathing light.
Circuit diagram
We can only uses a four-cell battery to let the breathing light breathe. There is no of 3300uf, so I found two 1000uf capacitor, and it is also works.
Connect the breathing lamp and the brain section in parallel and secure them with copper posts. The car is finished.
When the can is running, it will breathe. . . . . . . . . . . . .
In daylight, the car can avoid obstacles and run toward the light. Photoresistance I used two infrared receivers, which works well. I can also use the remote controller to guide the car.
