It is an advanced smart power module (SPMTM) that Fairchild has newly developed and designed to provide very compact and high performance ac motor drives mainly targeting lowpower inverter-driven application like air conditioner and washing machine. It combines optimized circuit protection and drive matched to low-loss IGBTs. System reliability is further enhanced by the integrated under-voltage lock-out and shortcircuit protection. The high speed built-in HVIC provides optocoupler- less single-supply IGBT gate driving capability that further reduce the overall size of the inverter system design. Each phase current of inverter can be monitored separately due to the divided negative dc terminals.

General Description

FSBS10CH60 is a Motion SPMR3 module providing a fully-featured, high-performance inverter output stage for AC Induction, BLDC, and PMSM motors.These modules integrate optimized gate drive of the built-in IGBTs to minimize EMI and losses, while also providing multiple on-module protection features including under-voltage lockouts, over-current shutdown, and fault reporting. The built-in, high-speed HVIC requires only a single supply voltage and translates the incoming logic-level gate inputs to the high-voltage, high-current drive signals required to properly drive the module's internal IGBTs. Separate negative IGBT terminals are available for each phase to support the widest variety of control algorithms.
