The GS-R51212 is a 3 output, high current and high voltage, step-down switching regulator module. It can provide +5V and 12V outputs. The heatsink allows the module to handle the large power it alos provides an effective shielding to minimize EMI. Following are features and characteristic Values for the module;
1- MTBF in excess of 200,000 hours
2- 4V max drop-out voltage
3- Soft start
4- Reset output
5- Non-latching short circuit protection
6- Crow-bar output overvoltage protection
Following is the Pin description for the module against each Pin Number;
1- Output 1 is regulated 5.1V output.
2- Output GND is return for output1 current path. Internally connected to pin 8.
3- Output 2 is regulated 12V output.
4- Ground 2 is return of output 3 current path.
5- Output 3 is regulated 12V output.
6- Ground 3 is return of output 3 current path.
7- Reset Open collector Reset output.
8- Input GND Return of input voltage source. Internally connected to pin 2.
9- + Input DC input voltage. Recommended maximum voltage is 40V.
Maximum Rated Capacity are as following;
1- Input Voltage range is 9 to 40V
2- Output Voltage 5.1V , 12V and 12V with 3.5A , 0.1A and 0.1A Current ratings respectively
3- Operating Case Temperature is -20℃ to +85℃
