Introduce this Module:

The L6203 is a DMOS full-bridge driver, which can handle the high peak current up to 5A and supply voltage up to 48V with RDS (ON) of just 0.3 ohms. The chip can run the DC motor at 4 Ampere continuous with proper Heat sinking.

The driver for motor control applications realized in Multipower-BCD technology which combines isolated DMOS power transistors with CMOS and bipolar circuits on the same chip. The logic inputs are CMOS, TTL, and μC compatible. Each channel (half-bridge) of the device is controlled by a separate logic input, while a common enable controls two channels. The I.C. is mounted in three different packages.

● Pin 2 - Vs (Vcc) Voltages Power Supply.

● Pin 3 - OUT1 (O/P 1) Output of 1st Half Bridge

● Pin 4 - BOOT1 A Boostrap capacitor connected to this pin ensures efficient driving of the upper POWER DMOS transistor. input should remain connected to Power Supply when not used.

● Pin 5 – INPUT1 (IN1) Digital Input from the Motor Controller.

● Pin 6 – GROUND (GND) Common Ground Terminal.

● Pin 7 – INPUT2 (IN2) Digital Input from the Motor Controller.

● Pin 8 – BOOT2 A Boostrap capacitor connected to this pin ensures efficient driving of the upper POWER DMOS transistor. input should remain connected to Power Supply when not used.

● Pin 9 – VREF Internal voltage reference. A capacitor from this pin to Ground is recommended. The internal Ref. Volt can source output a current of 2mA max.

● Pin 10 – SENSE A resistor Rsense connected to this pin provides feedback for motor current control.

● Pin 11 – ENABLE (EN) When a logic high is present on this pin the DMOS POWER transistors are enabled to be selectively driven by IN1 and IN2.
